There's a Blagg in the shop window at the foot of the hill: chrome, a horn that plays tunes, ONLY 3 LEFT. Eleven kids ride one. Frankie pushes the Rust Bucket, last up the hill every day. It's not a want. It's a NEED.
So Frankie makes plans. A sale on the steps. Five dogs to walk. A bike wash that washes one bike. A funny, honest story about wanting something so much it feels like a need, for families where money doesn't stretch as far as the wanting.
